“The Crown” is a painting of a bull elk. My reference shots I use for my paintings can come from unusual sources.  In my dentist’s office there was a beautiful mounted front quarter of a bull elk.  I shot some photos with my phone and used one of the photos for my reference. The dentist purchased the painting.
