“Before the Storm” is a painting of a cowboy on a buckskin horse playing with his rope while riding the plains with a stormy sky background. I had a great time on a ranch near Wickenburg, AZ, shooting reference photos at a ranch this spring. They do a lot of team roping and training of roping horses.
