“Dakota” is a painting of an overo American Paint Horse and was based on a Quarter Horse that my friends own. I spent a couple of hours shooting photos of their horses as they played in the pasture. Cody is a retired barrel racing horse with a lot of “go”. I put a different “skin” on him to turm him into an overo Paint.
